This started as a competition project for the Architect who had designed this house.
My job was to show each and every area with respect to the design and the landscaping. The water body running through the house was the most important part as it connects the inside and outside. Also I had to work differently on the lighting and plants because we wanted to make it look as much Indian as possible. The harsh sunlight, which we see here for most of the year, was the basic thing that we didn’t want to change. The interior is simple and cozy and when the sun goes down, the exterior areas look very much soothing.
