WOTW#33: Lake House by Levon Martirosyan

Great image called “The Lake House” from our ex-student Levon Martirosyan.

The main idea of this personal project is to go beyond the frames of architectural visualization and tell a story. I always enjoy doing matte painting when I create images.

I tried to give another approach towards these images, in order to get some natural and breathtaking feeling. I spent a lot of time to get the right result for water and lighting effects. I used Forest Pack and some Quixel Megascans’ assets for vegetation and Peter Guthrie’s HDRI for lighting.

Software used: 3DS Max, V-Ray, Forest Pack, Quixel Suite, Adobe Photoshop
